Braided polypropylene cord is a versatile material for hand knitting and crocheting. Shoppers, beach bags, backpacks and accessories made from cord are lightweight and practical. Its water-repellent properties allow it to be used in high humidity conditions, and its high melting point (160-170°C) makes it suitable for creating hot pads. Polypropylene cord is resistant to low temperatures down to -15°C, ultraviolet radiation and environmental influences, so it is even used for outdoor flower pots, hammocks and garden decorations.
